Among the many student organizations on campus, CSUSM has a few that are founded upon students’ religious beliefs, such as Catholic Club. Within this club, students can interact with others who share similar religious beliefs.

Catholic Club is a student-run group who’s mission on campus is to “give students a faith community in which they can establish and grow in a relationship with God.”

Along with the club’s mission to build a relationship with God, another primary purpose is to “unite other Catholics as well as anyone interested in the Roman Catholic faith.”

The group welcomes anyone who may be interested in learning more about the organization.

Catholic Club meets every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in USU 2310A.

During these weekly meetings, members of the club participate in a variety of activities.

“[We do] bible studies, masses, church services, but sometimes we alternate and have a public speaker come,” said member Thomas Toole.

Toole said if students are interested, they should come out, especially if they “have any questions about faith, or want to get to know more Catholics where they can come to spark an interest in the faith [and] maybe even spark a few friendships.”

Students who would like to contact the club with any questions can reach them via email at  CatholicClubCSUSM@gmail.com
