Polynesian Festival

Noon – 1:30 p.m., Forum Plaza. Celebrate the Polynesian culture with free food, live entertainment, free giveaways and games.

-S.D. Asian Film Festival

6 p.m., Clarke Grande Salon. There will be a pre-screening “NA KAMALEI: The Men of Hula.” Come out and support this event!

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 28

-ASI’s Homecoming Spirit Day

12:30 – 1:30 p.m., Kellogg Plaza. Come celebrate Homecoming Week with ASI and get some fun CSUSM spirit swag!

-Usuab Presents: Casino Royale

7 – 10 p.m., Clarke 113. A special homecoming celebration which will allow students to engage in a variety of social, fun and inclusive activities.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 29

-Homecoming Cougarfest

10:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m., Across Campus. Celebrate Homecoming by coming out to the second annual Cougar- Fest! There will be games, food, fun and cougar spirit.

-Thank You For Recycling Day

11:30 a.m – 1 p.m., U-Hall Plaza. Enjoy food, prizes and giveaways. Help celebrate CSUSM’s 7th straight RecycleMania victory.

-The Coming Out Monologues

5:30 – 7:30 p.m., McMahan House. Presented by the LBGTQ Pride Center is an evening of storytelling by students of CSU San Marcos. The stories represent diverse and unique experiences from people who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allies.

-Employer Resume Critique

THURSDAY, OCT. 6

-Career Expo 2011

10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Forum Plaza. Come learn about employment and graduate school opportunities directly from the recruiters.

SUNDAY, OCT. 9

10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Forum Plaza. Barbells for Boobs fundraiser for Mammograms in Action. Athletes from North County are invited to participate in the CrossFit workout “Grace” to raise money to fund mammograms for women who could not otherwise afford them.
