There was construction going on and some workers’ trucks were parking around the constructing area–dirt places. I was having a video recording going on and temporarily parked behind one of buildings where there is no sign saying “no parking,” not blocking anything and not on red fire lane. Whereas, there was a school cart parked further down the road and parked on a fire lane. I got a ticket of $120 where everyone else didn’t. They either saw my student parking permit on my windshield…or seeing me as a foreign student (I have a sticker with Mandarin on it). What I am saying is they are either raising fees, or I am being discriminated against.
They did not wave my complaint because they (parking department) said they had so many Asian construction workers. Even though there was no proof of any of them working on that day, and also stating that because it is a school service cart, they need to park in a red zone, with no proof of an emergency sign.
