There are many restaurants out there, but what makes a restaurant unique is not always its food
but its service. Good food can indeed be spoiled by terrible service; Station Pizza serves as the
prime example.
Station Pizza is located on the outskirts of San Marcos on Rancho Santé Fe Rd. near Palomar
College.
When you walk into Station Pizza you notice the cleanliness of the restaurant along with the
variety of entertainment it offers. The restaurant includes several flat screens TVs on the walls
with all the latest sports games and sports news on at all times, as well as a small arcade section
and two pool tables.
Overall, Station Pizza is a good example of a place to come to, snag some good tasting food and
enjoy a game with some friends.
However, when coming to this specific restaurant for the second time now, the experiences have
varied. Based from those experiences, it is not the place or the food bringing the business down,
but the customer service provided by one of the owners.
When going for the first time the customer service was respectable and no issue presented itself.
However, the second time coming in, the owner happened to be the greeter.
The restaurant owner stood smoking right in front of the entrance, and she proceeded to walk
into the store not caring to hold a door open or to even welcome the party into her restaurant.
When ordering food at the register, the owner happened to begin working and never cared to
clean her hands after smoking.
Although the taste and price of the food was satisfying, the customer service was disappointing.
The overall interaction was unwelcoming, and the owner made no effort to compensate for the
poor customer service.
Skip this restaurant and save your money for a place with good food, good price range and good
customer service.
