Since 1999, the Cougar Chronicle has served as the California State University, San Marcos’ most trusted, independent source for breaking news, thought-provoking analysis and opinions, sports coverage and comprehensive campus information.

We’re looking for bright minds of all backgrounds to continue our mission to inform and empower our community.

We welcome CSUSM students of all majors and experience.

We accept new staff members for the following positions on a rolling basis:

Staff Writers

Video Reporters
Graphic Artists
