This year’s surf team has been in five surf competitions ranging from Blacks Beach San Diego to C street in Ventura.

As always, the team is loaded with talent and is ready to have a heavy presence at nationals.

Top surfers include Kyle Marre, Taylor Divine and Alexa Dilley who consistently are in top places. This year the team is sponsored by Hawaiian Island Creation, Tikiwax and Hansen Surf shop in Encinitas.

The surf team is a student-run organization by this year’s team captains Cienna Norton and Max Roseman. Every Friday the surf team practices anywhere from Pipes in Encinitas to Oceanside harbor for four hard hours from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

ationals and next season,” Captain, Max Roseman said.

They are currently ranked 7, and the team will be at Nationals on June 14 at Salt Creek in Dana Point.
