When we come into college and start this new chapter of our lives, one thing we know for sure is that we are going to be broke.

We cannot blow our money every night with our friends because we have to try and save for a laptop that we need for school. We cannot buy the new Jordans that came out because we have to save up for our books. Actually, we can–because of Black Friday. Yes, Black Friday.

This is the one event of the year where innocent people fight over a pair of soft socks that smell like strawberries. Although it can be pretty scary to try to shop Black Friday, as college students, we can benefit from this so much. For example, it is essential for students to have a laptop for their work, but prices are really high, This is why Black Friday Deals are so important.

Last Black Friday, I bought a PC laptop at the door buster price for only $350 and my sister bought a Canon 3Ti that came in a bundle set with a camera bag, lens, stand and memory cards for about $450. Before the sale that laptop was almost $700, and the camera just by itself was $1,200. My sister and I spent $750 and got a laptop and a camera. Any other day, we would have spent around $2,000 for the same thing. That is a lot of money.

Go out and save money by fighting the crowds during the Black Friday sales. Be safe and have fun!
