If you are looking for a cool restaurant with a beautiful view to dine at during the spring, Decoy Dockside is the place for you.

The restaurant is located in 1035 La Bonita Dr., San Marcos, CA.  It is a beautiful lake house that provides an amazing view of Lake San Marcos.  

Decoy Dockside has two dining options. You can either dine upstairs and indoors for more elegant entrées, or downstairs for an outdoor dockside dining experience.

There is also a bar that holds happy hour everyday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

I recommend dining downstairs because the menu is more suitable for a student budget, whereas upstairs dining is more expensive.

While dining outside, people sit right beside Lake San Marcos. There is a colorful light-up fountain in the middle of the lake that adds to the beautiful view.
