The Cougar Corner

Happiness

From awful to great
When I let things go
Remember that I’m
Beautiful

Good
Right
Worthy
Wonderful
Safe

And stop believing the voices that say I’m
Ugly
Bad
Wrong

Unworthy
Monstrous
In danger
That’s when I remember the truth.
When I stop trying to find peace, validation, confirmation of my worth externally,

That’s when I find it inside
In my beautiful heart that remembers that

My only job is to be.
