Are you interested in the future of media on campus at Cal State San Marcos?
The College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences is looking for two students to serve as voting members on its Student Media Advisory Committee for the 2013-2014 academic year.
The SMAC committee — composed of administrators, faculty, media advisers and student media leaders — meets once a month to discuss the role of student-run media organizations on campus. The only approved student media now on campus is The Cougar Chronicle newspaper. But this could include student-run radio, television and web-based media programs in the future.
If you would like to have an influence on how the university funds, oversees, promotes and develops campus media, please contact Pam Kragen at: [email protected].
