To celebrate Veteran’s Day, students can take the time to visit one or two of many memorials spread throughout San Diego County. Many of these memorials are well-known tourist spots, while others reside like hidden gems for the community to discover and appreciate.

There will be a memorial displayed across campus designed to acquaint students with the high number of deaths that took place in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to the event organizers.
