ASI to host “Break a World Record” event

School is back in session and the demands of the semester are picking up. Need something to alleviate the stress? Try breaking a world record.

Associated Students Inc. (ASI) is hosting a “Break a World Record” event with the goal of breaking the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as snowmen and women in one place at one time.

The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Feb. 12 in the USU ballroom. Students are asked to arrive on time or a few minutes early.

ASI will be providing the snow costumes so students only need to bring a scarf to participate in the event. Programming specialist, Alex Sanders, encourages students and faculty “to bring a scarf and 10 friends!” Anyone is welcome to participate as long as they bring a scarf, so bring your friends and family along.

When students attend Tukwut Life events, they can receive a loyalty card.

If you’re looking for something fun and unique to do with a bunch of fellow Cougars on a Friday night, come out and make history by helping CSUSM break a world record. It’s not everyday we get the opportunity.
