CHABSS Voices “Life in a Pandemic” winners

CHABSS Voices is a monthly creative contest hosted by the College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences during the 2020-21 academic year. CHABSS faculty, CHABSS majors or minors and students enrolled in at least one CHABSS-focused course are eligible.

Each monthly contest will have a new theme. November’s theme is “Borders, Boundaries & Colonization” and the deadline for submissions is Nov. 16 by 5 p.m. For more details, visit the CHABSS Voices webpage here.

Below are the winners of October’s theme of “Life in a Pandemic.”

The CHABSS Dean’s Pick was a collage by liberal studies major Kailey Lyche.
The CHABSS Staff Pick was a photo submission entitled “Man Baby” by art, media & design major Benjamin Smiljkovich.
History MA Sylvia Ramirez got an Honorable Mention for “Coffee on the Coast,” a digital project that overviews coffee spots students can study in. View the project here.
