On April 21, National Football League touchdown leader James Jones of the Green Bay Packers and Chargers Hall of Famer Darren Bennett came to Cal State San Marcos to coach, inspire and play with youth athletes of NFL Flag Football San Diego. More than 400 youth, ages 5-14, participated in the 50-team league led by CSUSM alumnus Greg Williams.
NFL Flag Football San Diego is a sponsored program of NFL PLAY 60, a national youth health and fitness campaign encouraging young people to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.
