Nestled between Carlsbad and Encinitas, the Batiquitos Lagoon offers home to many birds, fish and other wildlife as tides sneak in and out of the lagoon under Interstate 5.

Nestled at the end of Point Loma, Cabrillo National Monument and the many great trails that surround it offer terrific views of San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

A short trip away, this small town provides many outdoor adventures. The look of the buildings on the main street transport visitors back to California’s gold rush days, but besides all of the historical sites Julian offers it also has a great deal of natural scenery too.
