CSUSM’s Theatre presented Frank Wedekind’s controversial play, “Spring Awakening,” a children’s tragedy this past Thursday. The topics covered in this play are enough to make your average church-goer blush, ranging from same-sex attraction, masturbation, rape, atheism and suicide.

On March 24, The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) honored the creative team of the 2011 comic book series “Batwoman” with an award for Outstanding Comic Book. This is the second time the lesbian character, Kate Kane (a.k.a. Batwoman), received this recognition.
